What is nutritional therapy?
Nutritional therapy involves identifying signs of nutritional imbalance and providing advice on avoiding the foods that create acidity in the body and lead to fatigue, pain, weight gain and other symptoms of poor health.
What are the signs of nutritional imbalance?
Symptoms that may occur if you are out of balance nutritionally are constant tiredness, regular coughs or colds, headaches and migraines, poor sleep, anxiety, irritable bowel, constipation, acid reflux, hormonal imbalances, food intolerances and many more.
What happens during a session?
During the first session we will look at your diet and lifestyle and how these are affecting your health. We will work with you to agree simple dietary changes to help you address your symptoms and direct you back to optimum health. Nutritional supplements may also be recommended to redress any nutrient imbalance.
How many sessions do I need?
It usually takes at least two to three sessions to see a difference; however some people may need to be in treatment longer if the health problem is more serious. Sessions typically last for 45-60 minutes and occur every three to four weeks.
